- Views: 393This time I will share about how to use filters to create texture. Let's begin.
1. Create a new document. Size adjusted. To create a gradient, set your foreground color
#464646 and background color
#8cc53f. Drag from top left to bottom right.
2. Select the
Smudge tool, set the Brush: 65px, Mode: Normal, Strength: 50%. Brush on canvas, to create a brush stroke, as shown in the figure below:
3. Now create the texture. Select
Filter --> Texture --> Texturizer. Setting as follows:
4. Select the
Burn Tool, set the Brush: 65px, Mode: Shadows, Exposure: 20%. To make some dark lines.
5. Select the
Dodge Tool, set the Brush: 65px, Mode: Highlights, Exposure: 30%. For some parts clearer.
6. Repeat steps [6], use the brush size smaller than before. And we will get the final result as below:
