Good Manners in Exchanging Links

Inspired by an article in the blog about Link Exchange, and of good manners in exchanging links, I am trying to parse here. In the article also explained, that the link in text form would be better used to exchange links. And of course, we must also consider some ethics and rules (although not a written rule). As follows below:

1. Never include the attribute rel = 'nofollow'
2. Place a link on the same place, if their placement on the sidebar or footter, then place a link exchange at the same place. Unless there's already a place like a blogroll and such.
3. If you ask to exchange links then you should first memsang links will take you exchange links.
4. Do not be a spammer, because in addition to harm yourself, you will harm others.
